Far from your traditional boarding facility, Dogward Bound offers a unique and personalized experience for your furry family. We are on a secluded mountain-top retreat spanning 15 acres adjacent to New York State's Fahnestock Park. Our facility provides a safe, fun, and enriching environment for dogs to thrive in.

Spacious and Comfortable Kennels

Each dog enjoys an oversized personal kennel run, measuring 4x8 feet indoors and 4x20 feet outdoors. The outdoor portion is partially covered to protect from sun and rain, allowing your dog to enjoy nature regardless of the weather. Inside, privacy panels provide a peaceful space for rest.

Structured Play and Exercise

For our more active overnight guests, we provide daily, structured playtime with our staff member in multiple large fenced-in areas. Each dog receives at least one 30 to 60-minute exercise/personal play yard session daily. Daycare guests enjoy two 1-to 2-hour sessions, which ensures they get the physical and mental stimulation they need.

Dogward bound is BEYOND awesome. We have been boarding our dogs with Vin for over 5 years and I wouldn't take them anywhere else. Our now senior rotti/shepherd mix has a severe case of separation anxiety and would be a mess when we picked him from the vet or previous boaring situations. Now I pick up calm, happy and TIRED dogs. Vin truly is the leader of the pack and the dogs (even my stubborn old man) follow him without thinking twice. Simply the best!!

We have boarded our 3 guys with Dogward Bound a few times over the past 2 years. They just came home today after a 4 day visit and had a wonderful stay! The staff is very friendly and great with the dogs. I love that our boys can stay in a suite together. Drop off and pick up is very easy. And I think they are very affordable compared with others in the Westchester/Putnam area. I highly recommend Dogward Bound!
