Dogward Bound is owned and operated by Vincent and Michelle Sciullo. What started out as a unique approach to training, with Vincent integrating his own pack with his clients through hiking, has turned into our dream of providing a therapeutic retreat for dogs to reconnect with their primal instincts by enjoying nature.

Playing soccer at the collegiate level, Vincent naturally prioritized the well-being of body, mind, and spirit. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation and worked for many years to enhance children's and seniors' lives. His passion and natural connection to dogs led him to return to school to become a Certified Master Dog Trainer and Behavior Specialist and eventually open our K-9 retreat. Vincent oversees and is responsible for the entire operation at Dogward Bound.

Michelle manages the daily operations at Dogward Bound and is Vincent's wife and mommy to the smallest members of the pack: Anthony, Sophia, Maya, and baby Michael. She is a homeschool mama and is the director of Mt Carmel Kids, a homeschool Christian Co-Op, and a local Classical Conversations academic community. Michelle loves spending time with her family, caring for our furry guests, reading, teaching, and exploring their little piece of the mountain.
